As the Manager, Business and Executive Services you will lead the statewide administration function for Pathology Queensland. You will be responsible for 3 direct reports, a team of 14 and has band 7 financial and band 6 HR delegations. What you'll do Provide senior level input into the daily operations of the Statewide Enablement Branch. Provide expertise and oversight of the administrative systems and processes that enable the business and drive improvement to those administrative systems and processes. Coordinate Pathology Queensland's business reporting including human resources, finance, funding and revenue, procurement, contract management, risk management and work health and safety. Analyse business metrics and develop appropriate responses to key issues through the development of or contribution to recommendations, submissions, correspondence and reports. Advise, consult and negotiate with senior managers in the coordination and management of administrative matters Ensure business systems are compliant with public sector legislation, standards, policies and procedures. Provide expert and authoritative advice to the PQ leadership team concerning public administration and record keeping. About you We are searching for someone who has: Ability to successfully lead a high performing team including being able to set direction, motivate and inspire staff and establishing a workplace culture where staff are valued, developed, and coached to work to the top of their potential. Demonstrated expertise in in the use of business information systems. Experience providing effective business reporting to senior leadership to support the discharge of their responsibilities and authorised delegations. An expert level of understanding of departmental administrative systems and processes or the ability to rapidly acquire the same. Ability to drive a customer-centric business services team and an ability to build relationships with internal and external customers Demonstrated good judgement in the management of conflicting priorities. Excellent interpersonal communication and an ability to role model professional and expected behaviours and build strong peer relationships. Why work with us?
