Reporting directly to the Director-General, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership and oversee a diverse portfolio to ensure the successful implementation of the Department's and Government's reform agenda. Acting as a key interface between the department and the Minister's Office, you will deliver high quality, timely, and impartial advice to support the Government's priorities. Key responsibilities include: Leading cross-agency collaboration and driving significant policy and strategic reforms. Providing expert advice on cabinet and parliamentary matters, media engagement, and ministerial requirements. Building and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence outcomes and deliver on key priorities. Championing a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement. Mentoring and guiding senior leaders and staff to build organisational capability while promoting diversity, inclusion, and the department's core values.
