Description Are you an enthusiastic outdoor professional with passion to support young people grow through challenge, adventure, and connection with nature? We are currently accepting expressions of interest for casual and part-time positions as Outdoor Education Instructors and Program Assistants to support upcoming programs in 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and meaningful environment, delivering outdoor and experiential education programs across a range of settings – from bushwalking and canoeing to bike riding and overnight camps. Opportunities Available: Outdoor Education Instructors – supporting the Carey Outdoor Educators to deliver programs, managing groups, and lead experiences. Program Assistants – supporting instructors, assisting with logistics, and helping ensure safe, smooth program delivery We’re looking for people who are: Passionate about working outdoors and with young people Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented Skilled communicators with a professional and positive attitude Available for seasonal, weekday, and/or overnight programs (flexible schedules) Desirable Qualifications & Experience: Recognised Outdoor Education qualifications or equivalent in specific and appropriate activities A current Wilderness First Aid qualification A valid Employee Working With Children Check A current Swimming Supervision qualification Boat Licence and/or Endorsed Licence (light rigid) will be highly regarded Whether you’re an experienced instructor or looking to get more involved in the field, we’d love to hear from you.
