ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking passionate and driven Learn to Swim Instructors, possessing a mature approach to fostering a safe and supportive aquatic environment, to join our Aquatics department. You will be responsible for delivering high quality learn to swim lessons and fostering a positive, educational swimming culture, in conjunction with the Learn to Swim Team. Proven experience as a learn to swim teacher is essential, along with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment. An instructor with an Infants extension course qualification (SISCAQU027 or equivalent), emphasizing water safety through play based learning would be considered favourably. This is a casual role, commencing in Term 4, 2025. We are seeking availability predominantly during school hours with some hours offered after school to accommodate program needs. Our out of hours Learn To Swim programs operate Monday to Thursday from 3:15 pm to 6:30 pm, and Saturday mornings from 8:00 am to 11:30 am. There is an opportunity to conduct daytime classes during school hours, catering for both Camberwell Grammar students and local school groups.
