Description The Role: The permanent part-time Daily Organiser – Junior School plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of both the Kew and Donvale campuses. Responsible for coordinating class and duty coverage for absent teachers, this role ensures minimal disruption to student learning and wellbeing. Working closely with the Deputy Head of Junior School – Wellbeing and Community, the Daily Organiser manages daily timetables, supports Casual Relief Teachers, and communicates effectively with staff to maintain seamless organisation across the Junior School. The position also provides administrative support to the Head of Sport – Junior School and contributes to planning for key school events that require timetable adjustments. If this sounds like the role for you, why not apply! The Average Day: Begin early each morning to coordinate class and duty coverage for absent teachers across both Junior School campuses. Prepare and distribute the Daily Organisation document to staff by 7:15am. Liaise with teachers, CRTs, and the Deputy Head to manage timetable changes or unexpected absences. Support CRTs by ensuring they have class information, resources, and any required technology or student details. Plan ahead for upcoming events and assist with administrative tasks, including sport scheduling and adjustments to timetables. The Person: To be successful in this position, you will have: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across staff and campuses. High attention to detail and accuracy when managing timetables, rosters, and daily operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using digital systems, with experience in Timetabling Solutions (or similar) highly regarded A proactive and flexible approach, demonstrating initiative, professionalism, and sound judgement in all situations. A valid Employee Working with Children Check is a requirement of employment for this position.
