The Property section provides vision, direction and strategic leadership for all property matters for TMR. We predominantly acquire and manage TMR's property for future infrastructure projects and also look after leases in the eight state boat harbours, Rail Trails along the rail corridors and commercial opportunities on TMR owned land. As an Assistant Property Management Officer, you will provide a support function to the Business Operations team.Some of your responsibilities will include:- Responding to agent's requests and enquiries regarding revenue and expenditure for TMR owned properties.- Assisting in the proactive management of customer accounts by liaising with agents to ensure customer/tenant details are accurate.- Responding to contractor/tradespersons enquiries regarding payments.- Sourcing data from internal systems.- Accurate and timely data entry to property and accounting systems reflecting quality data relevant to the tasks being performed. To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:- Demonstrated ability to provide effective administrative support to property management teams, including liaising with external stakeholders such as agents,tenants, local councils, and internal departmental staff.- Capacity to support other functional areas within the unit during peak operational periods, showing flexibility and teamwork under pressure.- Ability to assist in preparing a diverse range of correspondence to internal and external customers.- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, departmental policies, and procedures, with a commitment to ensuring all work is performed in accordance with these frameworks.- Ability to stay informed of changes in legislation, policies, and procedures that impact the role, and to adapt work practices accordingly.
