About Women 4 STEM Women for STEM was founded in 2005 and is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young girls and women to pursue careers in STEM by providing resources, mentorship, and career opportunities. We host 5 programs and over 40 events each year, such as Go Girl, Go for IT, Whats Hot in Tech, and the Grad Girls Program to inspire young minds and foster diversity in STEM. About the Grad Girls Program The Grad Girls Program is a flagship initiative of Women 4 STEM, designed to inspire and empower female students to explore careers in STEM. The program features engaging workshops, interactive careers expo, panel discussions, and webinars, culminating in impactful events. Across the 9-month Program, participants connect with STEM professionals, gain hands-on experience, and envision themselves in STEM careers Role Overview The Sponsor Liaison is responsible for managing and nurturing sponsor relationships for the Grad Girls Program. Reporting to the Program Lead and 2IC, and supported by a Sponsor Liaison Support volunteer, you will oversee the full sponsorship lifecycle from prospecting and agreements through to delivery and reporting. This role ensures sponsor needs are met, branding is aligned, and value is delivered, while also safeguarding the integrity of the Grad Girls brand. You will manage the sponsorship prospectus, track leads in our CRM, and provide reporting on sponsorship engagements. Youll collaborate closely with the Partner Events Coordinator for partner-hosted events, and with the Marketing Lead to deliver sponsor branding requirements. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about partnerships, business development, stakeholder engagement, and building strong relationships to ensure the sustainability and growth of Grad Girls. Volunteers will gain practical experience, expand their networks, receive hands-on exposure, mentoring, and perks such as discounted tickets to Women 4 STEM events. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with the Program Lead and 2IC to maintain and update the Grad Girls Partnership prospectus Manage the sponsor pipeline in Monday CRM. Track and report on sponsorship activities, including wins, renewals, losses, and overall pipeline health with accuracy and timeliness Oversee the Sponsor Liaison Support volunteer, delegating tasks and ensuring quality outputs Act as the main point of contact for sponsors, providing timely communication, updates, and support Coordinate sponsor agreements, ensuring obligations are clear and deliverables are met Work with the Partner Events Coordinator to support sponsors who are hosting partner events, ensuring alignment with program goals Liaise with the Marketing Lead to ensure sponsor branding requirements are met, including obtaining assets, brand guidelines, and formal approvals Ensure Grad Girls branding is represented correctly in sponsor materials, liaising with sponsors to align with our brand guidelines. Escalating to Marketing Lead as needed Liaise with Program Lead and 2IC to identify opportunities to strengthen sponsor relationships, add value, and encourage long-term partnerships Provide Program 2IC with monthly reporting, summarising sponsorship activities and challenges Contribute to end-of-program reporting, highlighting sponsorship outcomes and recommendations for future growth Who are we looking for? Demonstrable experience successfully obtaining new business and sales agreements, and maximising end-to-end opportunities from researching prospects to securing sponsorship Exceptional communication with extensive stakeholder and relationship management skills Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple sponsor accounts simultaneously Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities Confident with Zoom and Teams; Google Meet experience a bonus Experience with Slack and Monday CRM is an advantage (not essential) A passion for gender equality and supporting diversity in STEM education What is the commitment?
