ABOUT THE BRANCH The Human Resource (HR) Branch manages and consults on HR policies, provides advice and services related to employee conduct, payroll services and remuneration, work health and safety, workers compensation, recruitment and mobility, workforce planning and capability development, and performance management. The Branch also contributes to strategies to enhance organisational culture, diversity and leadership. The People Capability, Entry Level Programs and Diversity section is responsible for the management and delivery of: People Capability Entry Level Programs Culture & Diversity These key deliverables are currently being managed across three teams within the section, with collaboration and all teams working closely to deliver our shared goals. The key duties of the position include THE OPPORTUNITY It is an exciting time to be in Entry Level Programs in Finance. Our team is growing, and we are looking for an innovative entry level programs officer at the APS5 classification, and a program manager at the APS6 classification, within the Entry Level Programs (ELP) team. The ELP team work closely with hiring managers, supervisors and colleagues across Corporate Services teams, including Security, ICT and Payroll (Service Delivery Office) to ensure the needs of our clients are met. The team has responsibility for the whole of Australian Government recruitment processes for the Australian Government Graduate Program (AGGP) - Accounting and Financial Management Stream and Australian Government Career Starter Program, so you will often interact with our partner Agencies and ELP cohorts. We are looking for a collaborative communicator that are client focused, passionate about innovation and brings a positive can-do attitude and approach to fit the great culture of this small and busy team. As we are a client focused area, we are looking for someone who can move between often competing priorities, with strong organisational skills and a strong attention to detail to ensure we continue providing an exceptional service to our clients and pastoral care to our ELP cohorts.
