Your key accountabilities The core capability requirements for this role are: Lead and manage a small professional team providing oversight of a supply network in support of our marine operations. Provide strategic, operational and tactical procurement advice to internal and external stakeholders. Lead the development of a strategic approach to the engagement of marine supplies including associated contract and procurement management activities for the unit. Prepare high-level policy papers, submissions, briefs and reports on complex acquisition-related issues and initiatives. Coordinate and manage 'end-to-end' significant marine fleet procurement projects in cooperation with key stakeholders, ensuring that risk, probity, and transparency requirements are addressed. Lead the analysis of procurement patterns, supplier performance, and key industry markets. Role Requirements Qualification Relevant contract and procurement qualifications would be highly regarded. Technical/ Operational/ Educational experience Experience in a contract management role within the public service and/or marine sectors as well as experience in leading complex supplier arrangements will be highly regarded.
