We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support the delivery of social outcomes and local benefits on a large and complex infrastructure project in South East Queensland. As the Manager, Procurement (Social Outcomes and Local Benefits), you will be embedded within the project team and play a key role in implementing strategies that strengthen local workforce participation, enhance opportunities for apprentices and trainees, increase First Nations employment and business engagement, and promote fair and ethical procurement practices. This role requires a strategic approach to social procurement and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders, including government, industry, and community partners, to deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes. In this role, you will: Implement and monitor social procurement strategies to support local suppliers, SMEs, social enterprises and fair supply chain practices. Support initiatives to grow workforce capability through apprenticeships, traineeships, and targeted workforce development activities. Develop and deliver strategies that increase employment and business opportunities for First Nations peoples and enterprises. Promote cultural awareness and contribute to a culturally safe and inclusive working environment. Engage with community stakeholders to champion social and cultural outcomes along the project corridor. Provide advice, reporting, and compliance oversight to ensure initiatives align with Queensland Government policy frameworks. What you will need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will bring: Significant experience in leading strategic social procurement initiatives and implementing social outcomes frameworks, ideally in large or complex project environments Strong understanding of the QPP, QIPP, Modern Slavery Act and other related frameworks.
