About the Team The Grid Operations team manages the technical and commercial interface between the company's renewable assets and the electricity grid. About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the grid connection and operational performance of the company's renewable and storage asset portfolio. Key responsibilities will include: Managing grid connection requirements and compliance for wind, solar, and battery storage assets across the NEM Coordinating with Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and network service providers on grid connection matters Monitoring and optimising the performance of grid-connected renewable and storage assets Managing grid connection agreements, performance standards, and technical compliance requirements Coordinating planned and unplanned outages with AEMO and network operators Analysing grid constraints, network limitations, and their impact on asset performance Supporting asset development teams with grid connection studies and technical assessments Implementing and monitoring grid code compliance across the asset portfolio Collaborating with trading and commercial teams to optimise asset dispatch and revenue Managing relationships with transmission network service providers (TNSPs) and distribution network service providers (DNSPs) Providing technical input on grid integration challenges and solutions Supporting the development and implementation of grid management procedures and protocols About the Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in power systems and grid operations, with specific experience in renewable energy integration.
