About the Role Reporting directly to the CFO, the Deputy CFO is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the Group. You’ll ensure robust financial reporting, compliance with all statutory and regulatory obligations, and deliver high-quality financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. This role is central to supporting strategic decision-making and driving operational efficiency across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare accurate management accounts and financial statements Maintain general ledger integrity and financial systems Support CFO with board reporting and presentations Compliance & Regulatory Ensure compliance with GST, PAYG, FBT, income tax, and other obligations Manage ASIC and Corporations Act requirements Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators Planning, Forecasting & Analysis Lead annual budgeting and periodic reforecasts Deliver insightful variance analysis and performance recommendations Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities Manage and mentor a small finance team Foster a high-performance culture with ongoing development Allocate tasks and monitor team deliverables Process Improvement Champion automation and system enhancements Implement best practices in finance operations and internal controls What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CA qualification (mandatory) Minimum 15 years’ experience in financial management, ideally in insurance or regulated industries Strong technical knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax legislation Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills Advanced proficiency in financial systems (Excel, Xero, MYOB, or similar ERP) Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach Why Join 360?
