In the role you will work as part of the security engineering team which focuses on the development, deployment and management of ICT security capabilities. The role will provide engagement with members of the wider security team including information assurance, security operations and incident response. exposure to a vast array of security technologies that are widely used within large enterprise environments learning and developing skills involving networking, automation toolsets, containerisation, DevSecOps, troubleshooting, security hardening, vulnerability management and more If you can demonstrate a strong ability in enhancing, implementing and administrating IT solutions, with experience in Linux administration and security technologies, this could be the role for you. Your key responsibilities and major tasks include, but are not limited to: • Learning capabilities • Troubleshooting and resolving issues with capabilities. • Upgrading and enhancing capabilities • Communication with customers/users, and product vendors. The Capabilities this position will be involved in will include some components within one or more of the following capabilities: • RHEL administration • End Point Security • Container Security • Splunk • SIEM • Network Security and visibility • Vulnerability Scanning • Privileged Access and Secrets Management • Other capabilities • Automation toolsets • DevSecOps workflows About You To hit the ground running we are looking for individuals who can confidently demonstrate the following: • Hold a minimum of NV1 AGSVA security clearance. • Experience of Technical University Qualifications relevant to the role or Evidence of a minimum of at least three years or relevant recent experience. • Able to support, manage and maintain ICT capabilities to achieve contractual outcomes. • Proven Linux administration/engineering skillsets that can be tested in an interview panel Desirable experience • Linux administration or engineering certifications • Cybersecurity certifications • Basic coding experience • Networking experience Candidates must be Australian Citizens and have current NV1 clearance minimum to be considered. This role will require you to hold and maintain and Australian Government NV2 security clearance.
