Benefits A corporate wellbeing program with subsidised gym membership, free flu vaccinations and health check programsComprehensive learning and development supportaligned to icare’s Core Capabilities.Our People Awards - On-the-spot Recognition, Quarterly Values Awards & Our People Annual AwardsAccess to our Employee Assistance Program Duties It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same: as Workers Compensation Business Specialist (Cloud Program Upgrade) you will: Work collaboratively with product owners (PO’s), subject matter experts (SME’s), developers and QA teams to ensure the impact of any changes are as expected throughout product or process development.Ensure operational readiness for the applicable changes by working with training and change management resources to ensure impacts to end users are well understood and communicated to relevant stakeholders in advance of implementation.Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteriaSupport the design and documentation of UAT/BAT strategy and testing plan based on business and functional requirementsSupport the design and documentation of test cases based on realistic scenarios, including out-of-scope situations worth testing, to validate the system meets expectations, is fit for purpose, aligned across systems, user friendly and performing as expectedCoordinate test resources internally and externally as requiredCreate test data and execute test cases at various points (E.g. unit tests and end-to end UAT/BAT) for any changes to systems, software or processes impacting end users in (Policy & Billing / Claim) business linesDocument the test execution and communicate with the developers and PO’s regarding any deviationsReport any defects when they arise and work with the relevant SME’s and PO’s to triage and assess for next stepsTrack and report on testing progress including defects in conjunction with the technology testing teamRecommend to Product Owners, Business Owners as to the readiness of the system for acceptance into productionWork with the relevant SME’s, PO’s and technical teams to achieve the technical and functional acceptance and overall approvalSupport the creation of test-specific status reports throughout the relevant program of work and final test reports to ensure results are well understood by key stakeholdersAssist in training business users to test and use the application effectively Skills & Experience 5 years’ experience within the NSW Workers Compensation environment, ideally including executing business processes as an end user in Policy & Billing and/or Claims Management)Experience executing business processes on the icare claims and/or policy management platforms (Claim Center and/or Billing Center and Policy Center)Highly developed technical skills and ability to learn new technologies quicklyHighly developed communication skills and collaborative approach to stakeholder managementProblem solving and analytical skillsAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenariosExperience and knowledge of software development lifecycle and working with developers or ability to upskill quickly Culture We know our strength comes from the diversity of our people and would encourage people with different experiences and backgrounds to apply.
