As our growth continues, we’re seeking one to two experienced Senior Payroll professionals to join our Brisbane Outsourced Accounting Services team. This role can be full-time, or part-time in a job-shared capacity. In this role, you will be a part of our collaborative team overseeing the end to end payroll function for a portfolio of clients ensuring operational compliance, payroll advice, generating reports and facilitating process improvements whilst delivering a timely and accurate payments. Delivering consistent, high-quality service and performance outcomes Providing advice on payroll queries and generating reports Preparing and submitting compliance returns Engaging in project work for payroll system implementations Ability to work autonomously and proactively participate and negotiate with other Outsourced Accounting team members and Manager Contribute to team workflow meetings in a clear and meaningful way with a view to achieving all team objectives and goals. Desired Skills and Experience About you Prior demonstrated experience as a Senior Payroll Officer Previous with previous exposure and within a professional services environment would be highly regarded. Strong experience with Payroll and Timesheet systems Understanding of statutory return requirements and payroll legislation Problem-solving ability, analytical skills, and excellent reconciliation skills Well-developed communication (written, verbal and listening) and interpersonal skills to consult with multiple stakeholders and provide effective advice Competency in Microsoft Office and Xero and MYOB Interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive client relationships, fostering collaboration with others to achieve desired outcome.
