See more at our website - www.atsichsbrisbane.org.au Description About the Role In consultation with ATSICHS Brisbane General Manager Finance and Assest Management, the Finance Manager will leverage proven leadership experience and a deep understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting to lead critical financial operations. This role involved planning, organising, directing, controlling, and coordinating the financial and accounting activities within the Finance. The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide insights to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and strategic decision-making within this team. Duties Coordinate allocation of entries in alignment with program budget. Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulation. Monitor and report on salary sacrifice deductions. Oversee financial control and reporting, ensuring compliance and accuracy across financial statements. Support business compliance for current statutory and compliance obligations pertaining to Finance/Accounting. Develop and implement audit plans and schedules. Lead and manage finance operational team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts and payroll. Collaborate with senior leaders and influence financial decisions that drive business success. Create and maintain technical, project planning and documentation of business processes related to financial activities to strengthen internal controls. Covid-19 Requirements Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged. Skills And Experiences Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. OR Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior financial management role. AND Proven experience in managing financial operations and accounting functions. Comprehensive understanding of relevant accounting practices and standards, tax legislation, and applicable Government Acts. Sound ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data and effectively partner and advise non-financial stakeholders. Ability to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting. Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Desirable Professional membership CPA or CA. Experience working not for profit and/or human services organisations. Knowledge and application of Power BI. Additional Requirements National Police Certificate. Working with Children's Card (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply. Driver's Licence. Evidence of Work Rights. Travel between work sites on a regular basis.
