The National Blood Authority (NBA) is looking for a proactive and detail-focused individual to join our Records and Information Management team. Please note: This recruitment process is being conducted to establish a merit pool of suitable candidates. The merit pool may be used to fill similar roles within the the NBA over the next 18 months. The key duties of the position include About the role As the Information Management Officer, you'll support the effective use of the NBA's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), currently Content Manager. You'll work closely with staff across the agency to deliver first-level system support, assist with onboarding and training, and help develop practical, user-friendly guidance materials. This hands-on role also supports recordkeeping compliance activities, such as coordinating annual reporting (e.g. Check-up), maintaining metadata and data integrity, and contributing to lifecycle management processes including retention and disposal. You'll play a key role in identifying improvements and supporting the implementation of better information management practices. This role would suit someone who: Has strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Enjoys helping others and can explain systems and processes clearly Brings initiative, good judgement, and a willingness to learn Works well as part of a small, collaborative team Formal qualifications or extensive experience aren't essential. We welcome applicants who demonstrate the right behaviours and a foundational understanding of governance or compliance. Familiarity with records systems (such as Content Manager) is a bonus, and the NBA is committed to supporting training and development through performance agreements.
