Join the National Blood Authority's (NBA) Blood Operations Centre (BOC) team and help deliver vital support to health professionals and patients across Australia. The NBA is seeking a motivated APS5 Support Officer to join our Blood Operations Centre (BOC). This team provides essential support to users of the NBA's Blood Sector Systems, including hospitals, laboratories, and health professionals across Australia. This recruitment process will be used to establish a merit pool for APS5 Support Officer (BOC) roles that may become available over the next 18 months. About the Team As part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) team, this role is required to provide support services to the Blood Operation Centre (BOC) team. This is a dynamic team that provides technical support to all Blood Sector System (BSS) users while proactively monitoring BSS operations to quickly identify and resolve issues. At times, the BOC team also provide a range of support to other NBA teams allowing for further career development. The key duties of the position include In this role, you will: Respond to complex enquiries and provide system support via phone and email. Assist with operational coordination and contribute to the delivery of daily BOC functions Support stakeholder communication Participate in team knowledge sharing, process reviews and capability building initiatives.
