An exciting opportunity has become available for an Operations Supervisor to join our team at our Burton, SA depot. We are searching for a natural leader who prides themselves on compliant scheduling, safe operations, and bringing a positive, can-do attitude to work every day. Prior experience with bulk liquid transport is preferred but not essential. Your primary role will be leading the bulk operations team, planning resources, allocating fleet, and coordinating overall transport movements to keep the depot running smoothly and efficiently. About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include: Leading, mentoring, and supporting the bulk operations team in their day-to-day roles Driving a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team Day-to-day operations and coordination of the bulk liquid fleet Planning and scheduling of deliveries to meet customer expectations Fleet allocation and resource planning Maintenance planning in conjunction with the workshop and washbay teams Job allocation within our Transport Management System (TMS) Liaising with clients and internal key management stakeholders Timely and effective scheduling with clear communications provided to all relevant parties Preparation of relevant transport documentation and paperwork Delivering outstanding customer service as a frontline point of contact Supporting other team members and departments as required On-call availability on alternating weekends, with an on-call allowance provided About You You're a confident leader who knows the transport industry and understands what it takes to get the best out of a team. You'll bring: Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within transport or logistics The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small team in a fast-paced environment Prior transport and supply chain knowledge Sound knowledge of bulk liquid transport operations, food grade experience highly regarded A strong understanding of mass management and fatigue management compliance Basic Fatigue Management (TLIF6307A) certification, or willingness to obtain Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently at all levels High attention to detail and strong time management skills Sound experience with Microsoft programs and transport management systems A reliable, flexible, and safety-first approach to work What We Offer Full time, permanent position — Monday to Friday with alternating weekend on-call On-call allowance included Salary $100,000 – $115,000 per year, negotiable based on experience A supportive team environment with a company that values its people How to Apply If this sounds like you, apply now through SEEK.
