Your new role As an IT Systems Engineer, you will report to the IT Team Leader and play a key role in maintaining and supporting critical IT infrastructure. You'll provide high-level technical support across a broad range of systems, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers to deliver reliable IT services, while also contributing to and occasionally leading site-based IT projects. The role combines hands-on technical work with stakeholder engagement in a dynamic operational environment. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will bring proven experience in a similar infrastructure or systems engineering role, along with strong technical capability across: Microsoft client and server technologies Active Directory administration Virtualisation platforms Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching) Exposure to telephony systems, cabling (fibre/copper), and wireless technologies will be advantageous. Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, MCSA, MCSE) are preferred but not essential.
