This long established, import / export firm is currently looking to appoint an experienced Storeperson to join our WA warehouse team at Wangara. This is a varied role so duties will include, but are not limited to: Loading & unloading trucks & containers Booking couriers & trucks Data entry & writing-up con notes Picking, packing & despatching goods Receipting of stock both from local and overseas suppliers Cyclic stocktakes Other general warehouse duties Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will have the following skills: Computer literacy & customer focused Demonstrate a culture of safety first A good eye for detail Be able to problem solve where necessary Ability to work under pressure and work to deadlines Experienced with warehouse paperwork Able to co-ordinate with transport drivers / companies Self-motivated / pro-active Must hold a current WA forklift licence Must hold a current Australian drivers licence (min class C) Must be able to lift a maximum of 25kgs Minimum 2 years experience in stores Be reliable with a friendly attitude We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, who has good communication skills, is reliable, flexible and easy going, and seeking a long term position.
