About the Role Atlas Paving is seeking a reliable and experienced Fitter / Maintenance Officer /all rounder to join our team at our concrete brick manufacturing plant. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant machinery to ensure efficient and safe production operations and developing maintenance scheduling. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and servicing of plant equipment and machinery Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs Maintain conveyors, mixers, hydraulic brick presses, and associated equipment Assist with breakdown repairs to minimise downtime Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks Ensure all work complies with workplace safety standards Skills & Experience • Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or similar (preferred) • Experience working in manufacturing, concrete, or brick production plants (preferred) • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good understanding of workplace health and safety • Proficient in computing skills to help with maintenance programmes and to bring ideas • Must have car licence
