About the role Delco Group is seeking experienced AC Installers & Service Technicians to join our growing team in Gnangara, WA. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing air conditioning and refrigeration systems for both residential and commercial clients across the Perth region. This role is integral to our business operations, as our technicians are the face of Delco Group and directly impact customer satisfaction and safety. Key responsibilities Install, commission and test air conditioning and refrigeration systems in accordance with Australian standards and manufacturer specifications Perform routine maintenance and servicing on existing air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge Conduct site inspections and provide customers with accurate quotes for installation and repair work Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used and time spent on each job Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and provide professional customer service at all times Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to management Work collaboratively with team members and support the training and development of apprentices where applicable What we're looking for Formal qualification in air conditioning and refrigeration (such as a Certificate III or IV in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent) Current and valid driver's licence essential Current Refrigerant Handler Licence (or ability to obtain one) Minimum 2-3 years' experience in air conditioning and refrigeration installation and service work Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, including split systems, ducted systems, heat pumps and commercial refrigeration Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics and electrical diagrams Experience using diagnostic testing equipment and hand and power tools Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where necessary Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic Preferred: Experience with smart home air conditioning systems or experience in the commercial refrigeration sector What we offer Delco Group is committed to providing our employees with a rewarding career in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
