The Role: Maintenance Officer Based in Kewdale and reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining Sadleirs’ buildings, grounds, and equipment across local sites to ensure they remain safe, functional, and presentable. We are seeking an experienced, proactive individual with a positive, can-do attitude who can adapt to working across professional, commercial, and warehouse environments. Your responsibilities will include: Providing general building and property maintenance across all Kewdale sites Completing gardening and grounds upkeep to maintain a high presentation standard Carrying out minor repairs to buildings, car parks, and surrounding areas Undertaking basic trade work including painting, plastering, carpentry, and plumbing Replacing lighting and completing routine facility upkeep tasks Maintaining tools, equipment, and mobile assets used on site Monitoring and replenishing consumables and inventory items Carrying out minor road and site surface repairs, including potholes Supporting a positive safety culture and contributing to team-based outcomes What you’ll need: A current C Class Driver’s Licence Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform tickets (or willingness to obtain) Forklift Licence (desirable) Previous experience in a building/property maintenance or similar role (preferred but not essential) Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office) Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask A professional, proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed What Sadleirs Offers You Join a company where you’re not just another number – you’ll be respected, feel valued and be supported by a team that looks out for each other.
