Join a growing small team of young workers in our 37-year-old family business in Wangara, using various tools and machinery to manufacture high-quality solid timber beds. Work off customer orders to select, cut, prepare, trim and sand timber before joining, attaching brackets, oiling and packing in boxes for dispatch. Work as a team to push production further each week for a bigger weekly bonus (see the merits of your work straight away!). Start off working full time and if we're both keen, get qualified with a Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology through North Metro TAFE (Balga). We pay a production bonus to ALL employees EVERY WEEK based on individual hours worked vs. production output. Average bonus works out to roughly $2 per hour on top of your pay. Plus OPTIONAL OVERTIME (currently max 5 hours per week) at a minimum 1.5x the award rate Earn while you learn: get paid if you're at TAFE (4x full-time 2-week training blocks per year for 3 years).
