Profile Description: ServiceNow Engineer builds, configures, and maintains the ServiceNow platform to streamline business processes. They are responsible for developing custom workflows, creating platform integrations using APIs, and managing modules like ITSM, ITOM, IRM and CMDB. This role bridges technical solutions with business stakeholder needs. Core Responsibilities Platform Development & Customization: Configure workflows, forms, scripts (JavaScript), and user interfaces across core modules like ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change), ITOM, and ITAM. System Integration: Design, build, and maintain data flows and integrations with third-party applications and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers. Maintenance & Upgrades: Support platform sustainment, resolve defects, apply routine patches, and manage upgrades across ServiceNow releases. Security & Governance: Implement access control lists (ACLs), user roles, and security policies to maintain platform compliance and data integrity. Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable, out-of-the-box technical designs within an Agile environment. Requirements Key Qualifications Experience: Typically 2 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow administration and engineering within an enterprise-scale environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript , HTML, CSS, and web services (REST, SOAP, JSON). Certifications: Preferred credentials include Certified System Administrator (CSA) , Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) , or Certified Application Developer (CAD). Communication: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
