NHR Staffing Group is recruiting on behalf of a Perth-based aged care provider seeking a capable and proactive Accountant to support and strengthen their finance operations. This is not a routine accounting role. It is an opportunity to be part of a finance function that is evolving, improving systems, streamlining processes, and building stronger financial controls across payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reporting. This role will suit a finance professional who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is confident working across both day-to-day finance operations and improvement-focused projects. About the Role You will play a key role in supporting a more efficient, accurate, and technology-enabled finance function. Your responsibilities will include: End-to-end payroll processing, compliance, and reporting Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Preparing invoices, reconciliations, collections, and payment processing Supporting month-end, year-end, audit, and financial reporting requirements Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting Ensuring compliance with GST, payroll legislation, taxation, and relevant regulatory requirements Improving finance procedures, internal controls, and reporting processes Identifying opportunities for automation, system enhancement, and workflow improvement Working closely with leadership and internal stakeholders to support better financial outcomes About You You are a hands-on finance professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and working in a dynamic environment. You will bring: Accounting qualification or equivalent practical experience Strong experience across payroll, AP, AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting Good understanding of GST, payroll compliance, and finance regulations High attention to detail and strong analytical skills Confidence using finance systems and improving processes Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach Highly Regarded Experience within aged care, healthcare, disability, or another regulated sector Experience supporting finance system improvements, automation, or digital transformation Strong payroll and compliance knowledge Why Apply?
