Working alongside an experienced business owner and a capable administration team, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial operations and reporting functions across multiple entities. The role is based in Mosman Park, with flexibility regarding how the approximately 15 hours per week are structured. Your New Role This is a diverse and hands-on bookkeeping position supporting multiple business interests across farming, property, investments and wine production. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, managing payroll and assisting with reporting and compliance activities across a number of entities. Responsibilities will include: - Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions using Xero - Managing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records - Preparing and processing fortnightly payroll and associated superannuation obligations - Preparing BAS documentation and supporting quarterly compliance activities - Monitoring debtor collections and managing invoice follow-up processes - Maintaining financial records across farming, property and investment entities - Assisting with monthly financial reporting, cash flow reporting and management information - Supporting stock control and inventory administration processes - Coordinating financial documentation for external accountants and year-end reporting - Maintaining organised electronic and financial record-keeping systems - Assisting with licence renewals and regulatory reporting requirements - Liaising with internal stakeholders, external accountants, property managers and service providers This is a position of approximately 15 hours per week. Flexibility is available regarding how these hours are worked. Your Profile You are an experienced Bookkeeper or Assistant Accountant who enjoys working within a professional and autonomous environment. You take pride in accuracy, organisation and accountability, and are comfortable managing multiple priorities across different business entities. You enjoy working independently while building positive relationships with stakeholders and service providers. As well as this, you will have: - Previous bookkeeping experience within a multi-entity environment - Strong working knowledge of Xero - Experience processing payroll and superannuation obligations - Experience preparing BAS documentation - Excellent reconciliation and financial administration skills - Strong attention to detail and organisational ability - The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines - Strong written and verbal communication skills - A proactive and solutions-focused approach to work - High levels of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality - Full working rights within Australia Experience within agriculture, property, hospitality, wine production, family offices or investment environments will be highly regarded.
