Due to ongoing growth, this is a newly created position looking for an in-house Senior Accountant to join their strong team. About the Role This position will see you overlooking a small team of administrators and bookkeepers, leading day-to-day operations with flexible working arrangements, based out of their South Perth office. What will this position entail? Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts Managing general ledger reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing processes Ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards, taxation regulations, and government contract requirements Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Liaising with external auditors, government agencies, and regulatory bodies Providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management Mentoring and supporting junior accounting staff How can I be successful? Minimum 5 years of strong accountant experience CPA qualified and experience working with Xero Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax legislation Full Australian working rights Why Should I Apply for this Role?
