About the Role We are seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our growing civil construction team across Sydney. You'll be involved in the installation and maintenance of critical water and sewer infrastructure, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to Sydney Water standards. Key Responsibilities Installation of water, sewer, and stormwater pipelines. Laying and jointing of PVC, HDPE, DICL, and concrete pipes. Construction of pits, manholes, maintenance shafts and associated infrastructure. Assisting with excavation, trench preparation, and backfilling activities. Ensuring all works comply with Sydney Water standards, project specifications and WHS requirements. Conducting quality checks and maintaining accurate site records. Working effectively with supervisors, operators, and other crew members. Essential Requirements Current Sydney Water Accreditation relevant to pipelaying and utility construction works. Demonstrated experience in civil pipelaying and underground utility construction. White Card Current Driver's Licence. Strong understanding of Sydney Water standards and construction requirements. Ability to work safely in and around excavations. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Desirable Qualifications Confined Space Entry certification. Working Safely at Heights certification. Excavation and Trenching competency. Operator tickets (Excavator, Loader, Roller, etc.). Experience working on live water and sewer infrastructure projects.
