About the Opportunity An opportunity has arisen to join a leading real assets investment and development platform with a strong track record across retail and mixed-use precincts. This role will sit within a high-performing development team and report directly into a Senior Development Manager, supporting the delivery of a growing pipeline of retail-led projects across key urban markets. The Role As Development Manager, you will take ownership across the full development lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and acquisition through to delivery and stabilisation. The role will focus on large-scale retail and mixed-use precincts, requiring strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments. Key Responsibilities Manage retail and mixed-use development projects end-to-end Lead feasibility analysis including financial modelling and risk assessments Identify and assess new development and value-add opportunities Coordinate design, planning approvals, and consultant teams Manage contractors and oversee construction delivery Drive project timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements Collaborate with leasing teams on pre-commitment strategies Engage with internal and external stakeholders including investors, councils, and partners About You Proven experience as a Development Manager within retail or retail-led mixed-use precinct projects Strong understanding of the Australian retail property landscape Demonstrated experience delivering projects from concept through to completion Excellent financial modelling and feasibility capability Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Degree-qualified in Property, Construction, or a related discipline Why Apply Work with a market-leading investment and development platform Exposure to high-profile retail precinct developments Strong internal leadership and mentorship (reporting into a senior industry operator) Competitive salary and long-term career growth
