What You Will Be Doing: On-Site Inspections: Undertake critical structural inspections during construction (including reinforcement for concrete footings, slabs, walls, as well as steel/timber framing, bracing, and tie-downs). Technical Liaison: Respond directly to contractor site queries, providing a seamless communication line between the field and the design office. Quality & Safety: Rigorously uphold and enforce nominated QA and OHS processes to ensure structural integrity. What You Bring: Around 4–8 years of solid on-site structural engineering experience. A sharp, dual understanding of both construction processes and structural design principles. Strong communication skills to manage contractor relationships firmly and professionally.
