About the role The purpose of this role is to safely and efficiently operate production line equipment and perform assembly and finishing tasks to manufacture HVAC products. The role works as part of a small team and is responsible for producing high-quality products, maintaining records, and reporting equipment or process issues to the Supervisor. What will your day look like? Assembly of sheet metal and other HVAC related products Use of spot welder and other workshop machinery Monthly Quarterly material Stocktake Maintain accurate production and dispatch records Work both autonomously and as part of a team to meet production targets Liaise with customers (internal and External) as required Use of CNC Machine (on suitability and following applicable Training) Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area What experience will you bring to the role? Able to use various hand and power tools in a safe manner Current Forklift Licence (LF) Basic Literacy and Numeracy skills to follow written communication and complete standard forms Ability to work unsupervised and to tight time schedules Ability to follow oral and written instructions Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, a willingness to be accountable and accept responsibility Sound initiative and problem-solving skills Professional and customer focused approach Motivated, willing, team focused with demonstrated attention to accuracy, detail and workmanship Willingness to learn and the ability to adapt in the process of change Good level of communication skills and rapport-building ability Good planning, organisation, and time management skills Strong understanding of WHS requirements in a warehouse setting.
