About the Role We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Heavy Plant Operator to join our operations team on a full-time basis. Working across our Wingfield and Buckland Park sites, you will operate loaders and excavators as part of our composting and recycling operations. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys operating machinery, working outdoors, and being part of a hardworking team. Standard hours: 5:45am – 2:00pm Additional overtime, weekend and public holiday work available when required. Key Responsibilities Operate excavators across a range of tasks including feeding high-speed grinders, log snipping and general material handling Operate front-end loaders for truck loading, stockpile management and product blending Assist with maintaining smooth and efficient site operations Capture production data, truck weights and operational records using tablets and digital systems Work collaboratively with the operations team to meet daily production targets Conduct routine pre-start checks and maintain a strong focus on safe work practices About You Experience operating front-end loaders and/or excavators preferred Loader ticket and experience loading trucks and trailers highly regarded Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Able to work independently and as part of a team Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Able to undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening A hands-on operator who is willing to assist with general operational tasks, including clearing blockages and completing machine checks when required.
