Job Info Location: MALAGA, WA Salary: Not Specified Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Typical responsibilities Prepare scaffolding preliminary & concept drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, and tie details to discuss with the client for tendering and site implementation purposes Produce temporary works drawings in accordance with AS/NZS 1576 standards and site requirements Interpret engineering design briefs, architectural plans, and structural drawings Coordinate with engineers for load calculations and design approvals Revise drawings based on site feedback, RFIs, and engineer comments Prepare safe work method support sketches for high-risk scaffolding Maintain drawing registers and document control Perform quantity take-offs and scaffold material schedules from drawings and site information Estimate labour, erection, dismantle, transport, hire, and engineering costs Price tenders, variations, and scope changes Assess site constraints such as access, height, load class, and duration Discuss with the client about scaffolding scope as per their requirements Provide value-engineered solutions to reduce material and labour costs Ensure designs comply with safety, load class, and access requirements Assist operations with build methodology and staging Support project handover from tender to construction Prepare variation sketches and re-pricing during project execution Skills Required AutoCAD (preferably 5 years of experience), iScaf (2 years of experience) Understanding of scaffold systems (Cup lock system, tube & fitting) Quantity take-off, costing skills, documentations Strong coordination with engineers, site supervisors, and clients Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills Problem solving and good attention to details An understanding of construction of scaffolding for external & internal perimeter, birdcage, access towers, loading bays, gantries, void area, etc. Capable to handle multiple projects at a given time frame Able to work under pressure and prepare the quotations for discussions and submit to the client
