This role provides exceptional leadership to enhance frontline services for the people we support and stakeholders, whilst ensuring we have the engaged people, quality services and enduring partnerships. Working closely with the Community Pathways Lead, the Throughcare Team Leader ensures the consistent delivery of services, supports staff in managing complex client needs, and promotes strong collaboration with community organisations, employment providers, and justice agencies. The Throughcare Team Leader provides day-to-day leadership and coordination for the Aboriginal Throughcare (ATC) and Career Development Program (CDP) services. The role supports Case Managers in delivering culturally safe, effective, and coordinated case management services that assist individuals involved with the justice system in successfully reintegrating into community and employment pathways. What you’ll bring Experience working within Aboriginal Throughcare or justice reintegration programs. Understanding of employment pathway programs or workforce reintegration initiatives. Experience working with justice agencies or correctional environments. Relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Counselling or related discipline (or equivalent experience). Demonstrated experience providing case management or support services within justice, community services or related sectors. Experience supervising or supporting staff in service delivery roles. Strong understanding of trauma-transformative and strengths-based practice. Ability to support teams working with clients experiencing complex social challenges. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Cultural competency when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Why join Outcare?
