Our ever growing workshop is looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to assist our Maintenance Supervisor in all areas of general servicing and repairs on our fleet. This includes but is not limited to:- B Doubles, Semi Trailers, Rigids, Trailers, Rail Equipment and Forklifts. Skills & Experience:- Full Diesel Mechanic qualifications Welding and fabrication experience Diagnostic & Fault finding capabilities Drivers Licence Duties & Responsibilites: Maintaining and repairing trucks, trailers and other equipment in a safe and efficient manner Regularly liaising with the Maintenance Supervisor to understand and manage workload Ensuring Maintenance schedules are carried out at a high standard Maintaining a clean, well-organised work environment Be aware and across all State and Federal Legislation Be aware and across all chain of responsibility requirements as well as accreditation programs The successful applicant will report directly to our Maintenance Supervisor.
