Your responsibilities will include: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Data Officer to join our Configuration and Data Management Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in technical data management, or configuration management, with extensive on-the-job training provided. In this role, you will support the management of technical documentation, customer deliveries, configuration baselines, and data management activities across complex engineering and project environments. You will work closely with engineers, project teams, and stakeholders to help maintain the integrity and accuracy of program information and documentation. With training and support from senior team members, responsibilities will include: Provide document control and data management support across program products and services Standardise, edit, format, and publish technical documentation Coordinate documentation reviews and approvals Manage document deliveries to external stakeholders and customers Liaise proactively with document authors to ensure data and documentation are produced in line with schedules and requirements Support the administration of technical reviews and working groups Assist in progressing change requests through configuration management processes Support problem identification, registration, tracking, and resolution activities Assist with maintaining the integrity of technical and configuration baselines Contribute to build and release management activities within a complex engineering environment The preferred location for this role is Mawson Lakes, SA. About You This role would suit someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a technical environment. While this is an entry-level opportunity with training provided, candidates should demonstrate some prior experience in technical administration, records management, document control, or a related support function. To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in technical administration, document control, records management, or similar support roles Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows-based systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or missing information Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities A positive and proactive approach Strong learning aptitude and willingness to grow in a dynamic environment Professional attitude with a strong customer focus Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Experience in a technical or engineering environment is desirable, but it is not essential.
