South Australian Country Fire Service Job reference: 845661 Location: 5035 - KESWICK Job status: Ongoing Eligibility: Open to Everyone Primary purpose of role: Support the delivery of projects and initiatives that improve the services provided by the Community Risk Reduction Partnerships team. Support CFS Regional Community Engagement Officers in the delivery of CFS bushfire engagement programs Assist in the development and maintenance of partnerships with key community groups and industry to support neighbourhood and organisational readiness for bushfires. Support the delivery of bushfire awareness strategies, services, information and prevention campaigns, tailoring activities to specific groups, industries or locations. Assist with evaluating community preparedness programs by gathering information and supporting assessment activities. Undertaking of an emergency support or incident management role, via a defined ‘operational’ on-call roster, with the potential to be re-called under emergency situations, to enable the provision of emergency service activities by CFS to the community.
