Behind the hard hats You will be working with a proudly WA-owned electrical contracting business that specialise in complex industrial and mining operations. They're not a big corporate; they're a focused, tight-knit team where the work you do is central to ensuring the business runs. If schedules slip, jobs stall. If coordination breaks down, the whole operation feels it. As a business, the Directors are hands-on, they know their stuff, and they've built a team that takes real pride in the work they do. As the person keeping things organised behind the scenes, you'll be working closely with people who truly care about doing things properly. Where the Tetris actually happens When a labour request comes in, you work out who goes where. You're matching skills, availability and job type. It's about knowing who works well together, who needs a bit more support and who can be dropped in and get on with it. You'll get to know every person on the books. You know who they are, what they're about and probably what footy team they barrack for. That's what makes you great at this job. And before you start worrying, you won't be thrown in the deep end. There's a solid handover and a Director who'll point you in the right direction while you find your feet. Once you've locked in the right people, you make sure they're inducted, medically cleared and have everything they need before they get on the plane. No loose ends. You'll also run a monthly recruitment cycle to keep the talent pool stocked. The person we're picturing Experience in mobilisation, workforce coordination or scheduling in a trade or mining environment would be ideal, but if that's not you, we're also open to a highly skilled administrator ready for a change of scenery. Beyond that: You're confident on the phone with tradies who just want a straight answer You've got good systems instincts and the kind of attention to detail that stops problems before they start You've got resilience - because recruitment will test it Have we got your attention?
