We are seeking a motivated and organised Office Manager to join our team full time at our Coomera office located within The Boat Works Marina. About the Role This position is ideal for someone with extensive office management, administration, coordination, and operations experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in planning and reviewing office operations, setting priorities and service standards, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, managing daily business operations, coordinating office activities, and maintaining efficient workflows across office and administration practices. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily office operations, administration and office services. Ensure continuing compliance with Workplace Health & Safety Regulations, relevant government legislation, policies and procedures. Allocate and coordinate human resources, office space, equipment and administrative resources. Assign work, coordinate team activities and monitor staff performance to ensure office tasks are completed efficiently. Ensure internal processes and office procedures are followed and continuously improved. Maintain accurate office records, documentation, accounts and administrative files. Coordinate customer communication via phone and email, including order, invoicing and service enquiries. Liaise with suppliers, freight companies, professional advisers and internal staff to coordinate office business and resolve operational problems. Manage office stock replenishment and support purchasing and logistics coordination when required. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, including supporting safe work practices in the office and warehouse environment. Coordinate personnel activities including onboarding, staff coordination, training, supervision, performance management support, payroll coordination and general operational support. Required Qualifications & Experience Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma-level qualification relevant to office administration, business, management or operations. Previous extensive experience in office management, administration, operations coordination or a similar role. Experience coordinating staff, office procedures, customer service workflows, invoicing, order processing, records, accounts or payroll-related administration. Preferred Skills & Experience Extensive experience in office management, administration, and operations. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers, freight companies, professional advisers and team members. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to supervise, coordinate and support staff in a busy office environment. Warehouse, stock control, purchasing, logistics or marine industry experience is highly regarded.
