A fantastic contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced WHS professional to join a major transformation and site relocation project. This role will lead safety, risk and compliance activity across the full project lifecycle - from construction through to operational readiness and site transition. Working closely with operational leaders, contractors and executive stakeholders, the position will play a key role in ensuring the new facility is safe, compliant and operationally ready. The role will initially focus on planning, strategy and design review before transitioning into a more hands-on delivery role as the project progresses. Key Responsibilities: Support and lead WHS strategy across a major greenfield site-based project Partner with contractors, project teams and operational leaders throughout construction and commissioning Manage contractor safety governance, compliance and onboarding processes Lead risk assessments, hazard identification and incident management processes Develop and implement WHS systems, frameworks and reporting processes Support operational readiness, workforce transition and site mobilisation activities Drive broader WHS initiatives across psychosocial safety, workers compensation and compliance programs Influence stakeholders across operational, project and executive teams About You: Significant WHS experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or related industrial environments Experience supporting greenfield builds, site relocations, or major capital projects highly regarded Strong understanding of contractor management, risk and NSW WHS legislation Able to balance strategic and commercial thinking with hands-on operational delivery Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability Comfortable operating within dynamic and evolving project environments This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact transformation project and contribute to the successful delivery of a major operational site transition.
