Sr. Credit Officer/Stand-alone Credit Manager | Early start, early finish We have a great opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Sr. Credit Officer/Credit Manager to join a well-established business located within walking distance from Sydney CBD. This is a standalone role where you will take full ownership of the credit function while also supporting the wider finance team. Perfect for someone who enjoys autonomy, fast-paced environments, and working as part of a close-knit and energetic team. We are specifically looking for someone who genuinely enjoys starting work early and finishing early, as this is a requirement of the industry and daily operations. The Role Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit function across a high-volume environment with strong daily transactional activity. Your responsibilities will include: Managing buyer and sundry debtor accounts Opening customer accounts and conducting credit checks Raising invoices and processing account adjustments Monitoring account balances and collections activity Following up on overdue accounts and escalating doubtful debts where required Reviewing and reconciling daily takings and records Performing monthly reconciliations and maintaining accurate account records Supporting the accounting team with supplier invoice processing and general data entry duties Assisting with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks Providing support across the broader finance team when required Maintaining a high level of customer service with internal and external stakeholders About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: Previous experience within Credit Control/ Accounts Receivable Strong debt collection and account management experience A hands-on and proactive attitude The ability to work autonomously in a standalone role Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Intermediate Excel skills An accounting or finance background Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A willingness to support the broader finance team when required A preference for early morning starts and early finishes What's in it for you?
