$30.93 per hour Annandale Christian College Part-time Contract Administration 22 Jun 2026 Annandale Christian College is seeking a friendly, organised and professional Receptionist to join our Front Office team 2 days per week (8:00am to 3:30pm) for the remainder of the 2026 school year, with the possibility of extension into 2027. This is a part time, fixed term position commencing as soon as possible and working during the College term time only in accordance with the ACC school calendar (school holidays off). As the first point of contact for our College community, this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and is committed to providing warm and professional customer service to parents, students, staff and visitors. About the Role The Receptionist plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the College Front Office and creating a welcoming environment for all members of the College community. Key Responsibilities Provide a welcoming and professional first point of contact for parents, students, visitors and contractors Answer and direct incoming phone calls and email enquiries Assist with student sign in/sign out processes and general administration tasks Manage front office enquiries in a calm and efficient manner Support busy front office operations during peak periods including before and after school and lunch breaks Support sick bay and first aid processes for students Support the administration of medication to students in accordance with College procedures Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information Provide administrative support to College staff as required About You The successful applicant will demonstrate: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment A positive, friendly and team-oriented attitude Confidence using Microsoft Office and general office systems Previous reception or administration experience (school experience advantageous but not essential) Hold a current First Aid and CPR qualification, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement Hold a current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card (Paid Employment) prior to commencing employment Be a committed Christian who is active in their local church Be in full agreement with the College’s Statement of Christian Beliefs Be willing to provide a pastoral reference as part of the recruitment process Demonstrate a commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the College Child Safety Commitment Annandale Christian College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and wellbeing of children and young people.
