AO3 Business Support Officer | 2 positions available QLD Government Initial contract from 1st of June 2026 – 7th of December 2026 (with high likelihood of ongoing contract extension) Full-time, temporary contract (Monday – Friday | 8:30am – 4:30pm) About the role In this role you will provide administrative support within a large QLD Government team, contributing to the efficient delivery of projects across FNQ. You will be responsible for managing correspondence and enquiries, compiling documents, maintaining accurate records and supporting internal and external stakeholders to meet business timeframes. Key responsibilities Provide administrative assistance including service maintenance, project support and work order management Monitor and manage internal and external correspondence including phone calls and emails Liaise with industry, local suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders to support timely service delivery Compile documents and reports with a high level of accuracy Update records and information systems, including Ellipse and Microsoft Office applications Develop and maintain procedures, manuals and registers while being a contributor to improving existing procedures General administration support as required About you Proven experience providing administration support Previous experience with work order management, project or contract administration is highly regarded Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Current clean open driver’s licence Work effectively in a fast‑paced environment with KPIs and performance monitoring mechanisms Apply Apply below to be considered for this opportunity.
