So, what’s the role? Reporting to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, this role sits at the heart of the Vision Care business and will partner closely with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to drive performance and support commercial decision making. This is far more than a reporting role. It’s a highly visible, commercially focused position where you’ll be involved in analysing business performance, advising leaders, influencing decisions and identifying opportunities to improve profitability, efficiencies and overall commercial outcomes. You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys partnering with managers and stakeholders - building relationships, understanding operational challenges and providing meaningful financial insights that help shape business direction. There’s also a strong continuous improvement focus, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys streamlining processes, improving reporting capability and identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working. A typical week might see you: Partnering with leaders across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to support commercial decision making Leading budgeting and forecasting processes for the Vision Care business Delivering financial reporting, variance analysis and performance insights to leadership Presenting reports, recommendations and commercial insights with confidence and clarity Supporting pricing strategy, promotions, tenders and contract modelling Conducting market analysis and providing sales and performance intelligence Using Power BI to develop and improve dashboards and reporting capability Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting and operational efficiencies Providing commercial financial analysis and forward-looking business insights Who are you? You’re commercially minded, naturally curious and someone who enjoys being embedded in the business rather than sitting behind the scenes producing reports. You build strong relationships easily, communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels and have the confidence to challenge thinking, ask questions and influence decisions where needed. You enjoy understanding how a business operates commercially and get genuine satisfaction from helping leaders make smarter, more informed decisions. You’ll bring: Experience in a Finance Business Partnering or commercial finance role Experience working within a product-based business environment Strong budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis capability Advanced Excel skills and (ideally) some Power BI experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the confidence to present financial insights to senior leaders Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability High attention to detail and a strong focus on data integrity A proactive, positive and solutions-focused attitude CA/CPA qualification will be highly regarded What’s in it for you?
