Our team is proud, passionate, and skilled — and we want someone like you to join us. About the Role We're on the hunt for a Trade Assistant who's ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You'll be doing a bit of everything — from helping out in the workshop with cutting, grinding, and prepping materials to heading out on the road for supplier pickups and customer deliveries. It's the perfect role for someone who's keen to learn, grow, and possibly step up into a 2nd Class Welding position down the track. If you've got a good attitude and enjoy working with your hands, we'll teach you the rest. What You'll Be Doing Assisting fabricators with jobs like cutting, drilling, grinding, and general metal prep Loading/unloading materials and keeping the workshop clean and tidy Picking up and delivering materials and supplies Helping wherever needed around the workshop – no two days are the same! What We're Looking For Manual driver's licence (essential) C Class driver's licence or higher is required Forklift ticket (essential) Any valid forklift licence is acceptable A can-do attitude and willingness to learn Experience in a workshop or with hand tools (preferred, but not essential) Bonus points for previous metalwork or fabrication experience!
