Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand to join the team, overseeing day-to-day production activities while maintaining strong quality and safety standards. The Role: This role will see you working in a hands-on leadership capacity within a production and workshop environment, coordinating staff and ensuring production activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will be responsible for leading the team on shift, maintaining production targets, and supporting the ongoing development of workshop personnel. Details: Permanent Full-Time position $42 – $45 p/hr penalties super Monday to Friday 6am – 2pm or 8am – 4pm Hands-on leadership position within a specialised manufacturing environment Opportunity for growth and long-term career progression Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise production staff on shift within a cooling tower manufacturing environment Ensure production targets are achieved in line with production schedules Monitor process controls and maintain accurate production and quality records Maintain compliance with WHS, quality, and safety management systems Identify and report product, process, and quality issues promptly Support stock control, storage, and distribution of cooling tower components Ensure equipment and work areas remain clean, safe, and operational Assist with training, mentoring, and development of production staff Requirements: Previous experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role within manufacturing, fabrication, HVAC, or similar industries Strong understanding of production processes, quality systems, and workplace safety standards Ability to confidently lead teams and make decisions on the workshop floor Mechanically minded with basic maintenance knowledge (highly desirable) Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team environment Full Australian working rights Driver’s Licence and reliable transport To Apply: For more information about this position, please call 0402 406 and ask for Lochlan or click the "APPLY NOW" button!
