It is widely recognised for its premium aluminium window and door products in the WA market The Position The role is responsible for the transport and delivery of Jason Windows glass panels and sashes from the Welshpool factory to Bunbury factory. You will need to be an experienced HR Driver and meet the required safety, customer service, business and departmental objectives in an environment that promotes continuous improvement, professionalism, and innovation. This role will also be tasked with loading at Welshpool and unloading at Bunbury. On days where these is no run to Bunbury you will assist in glass processing or glass handling duties. About the role Manually load glass products onto A Frames and load A Frames onto the truck. Verify loaded product in accordance with job records and schedules. Return trips to Bunbury – commonly 2 days per week, and intermittent glass A frame deliveries to various building site in the Perth Metro area. Unload glass products at the Bunbury warehouse, and manually off-load glass products at building sites. Check A frames are tied down safely in accordance with the Chain of Responsibility obligations. Carry out maintenance checks on the vehicle and other items such as A frames etc. Assist the glass processing team by working on automated glass processing equipment – cutting tables, toughening plant, KSR Requirements Glass handling experience HR Truck license Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility obligations Knowledge of safe manual handling practices Able to communicate with people and work in a team Customer focused and committed This role will require the successful candidate to pass drug and alcohol test, complete a fitness for work assessment and a truck driver assessment and provide a Police Clearance.
