Your new company This organisation is a large-scale, investment-backed manufacturing and food production business operating across a complex national footprint. With significant operational spend, multiple manufacturing sites and ongoing investment into capability uplift, the business is continuing to strengthen procurement's role across the broader supply chain function. As part of this evolution, newly created Procurement Business Partner positions have been established to support commercial delivery, supplier performance and procurement maturity across the business. Your new role Based in Melbourne's northern suburbs and reporting into Supply Chain leadership, you will operate as a commercially focused procurement partner supporting a broad indirect spend environment valued at approximately $300 million. Working across categories including packaging, freight, chemicals, consumables and engineering services, you will lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations and procurement projects while partnering closely with operational and site-based stakeholders. This is an environment with pace, complexity and limited established structure. Success in the role will come from your ability to operate through ambiguity, build credibility with stakeholders and drive procurement outcomes within a decentralised operational business.
